Hi! I'm Jordyn. 👋🏽

Versatile. Multi-Disciplinary. Forever Growing.

I have a strong passion for SMBs (small and medium businesses), underrepresented communities, and emerging markets. I love using an empathetic approach in design to create effective solutions.

With over 6 years of experience in web, graphic, and product design, and having worked with 100+ clients across 3,600 business transactions worldwide, Adobe Illustrator and Google UX Foundations have both certified me. Having worked on a WhatsApp project for Meta Fintech, I've learned to prioritize business, innovation and impact while empathizing with clients to simplify technology and software. My passion for designing was instilled in me with traditional core values, and I have won several awards, auctioned artwork and created my first HTML website at the age of six. Growing up across America gave me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and being outgoing comes naturally to me. I attended a four-year design academy, which gave me the necessary creative direction to build a rapport with clients and collaborators while also expanding my prior knowledge.

My experience extends beyond freelancing, as I have successfully created and run a graphic shirt and custom photo gift business, generating over 3,500 sales nationally and internationally. When I'm not working, I enjoy helping people, caring for myself, my faith, animals, and the earth. I test and curate new recipes, bake, and enjoy music, and visit history and pop culture museums. I'm currently practicing multiple languages, including Russian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Java, and Python. Writing research papers on tech, AI, design, and Interactive Media is another passion of mine.

Ultimately, my goal is to continue working with clients and SMBs to market and brand their ideas effectively while inspiring young black women in the industry. Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Paul Rand are my role models, and I hope to expand my portfolio over the years, relocate closer to Washington, D.C., and work for a museum that impacts change locally and globally.
